Arnold Lovera is an internationally trained tennis professional whose career bridges elite competition and high-performance coaching. Born and raised in Venezuela, he became the country's No. 1 ranked junior tennis player and earned a spot among the ITF's top 200 juniors globally, competing across South America and achieving singles victories over three players who would later reach ATP World No. 1 in doubles: Robert Farah, Marcelo Arévalo, and Austin Krajicek.
From 2012 to 2014, Arnold proudly represented Venezuela on the Davis Cup team in Americas Zone competition, playing alongside fellow ATP professionals David Souto and Luis David Martínez. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2012, which enhances the business acumen he brings to his programs.
His coaching career has been influenced by mentorship from some of the sport's most respected figures. Arnold served as Head Tennis Professional at the Pablo Arraya Tennis Academy under former ATP World No. 29 Pablo Arraya before transitioning to the WTA Tour, where he coached Sachia Vickery (career-high WTA No. 73) and worked as a sparring partner for former World No. 3 Sloane Stephens. From 2020 to 2025, Arnold operated as a high performance tennis coach at the Kozlov Tennis Academy, where he trained ATP professional Stefan Kozlov, helping him climb from a ranking of 800 to 260. This period included an ATP 500 victory over Grigor Dimitrov in Acapulco, a Challenger title in Champaign, Illinois, and a 2024 win over Ethan Quinn. During this time, he also trained alongside elite players, including Coco Gauff.

Built for Juniors With College Tennis on the Horizon: Arnold's primary focus is the development of high-performance junior players who are building toward USTA tournaments, college tennis, and the highest level the game has to offer. For juniors pursuing the college pathway, Arnold helps players build their UTR, tournament résumé, and competitive game required to earn a roster spot at the collegiate level. From early development through the recruiting years, he works closely with families to navigate tournament selection, training blocks, and the long arc of preparation that turns a promising junior into a recruited college athlete.
A Second Focus: Adults Who Train Like Competitors: Arnold also works with a smaller group of adult clients who share that same commitment to their game.
Every Session Is a Training Session: Each lesson is structured, deliberate, and built around measurable progress in technique, footwork, point construction, and the mental side of competition. Programs are built around the player's current level and long-term goals, with the structure and accountability of a tour-level environment.
Players who come to train, not to talk: Arnold takes on clients who treat every lesson as serious work. If that's the standard you're looking for, Lovera Tennis is built for you. You can book your first lesson below, or fill out our contact form if you would like to learn more.
